Local Charge?

Any idea what a local charge is?

We do not have any special setting for this or mod addon.

Never experienced this before.

it well over charged 25.90 for nothing. Just need to figure what is causing this to charge.

Could be a tax thing? Thats my guess, but never did this before on local users.

Anything new or unexpected?

What do you find if you go to the Tools ... Developer's Tool Kit and type in the bottom input box:
Local

You may see more than you are looking for but see if anything looks odd or unusual ...

Note: the amount is close to 5% ... do you have a new Tax setup or something that you are unaware of?

Order totals are fine exact to another cart.

Taxes are Nebraska, however before I repaired his website with fresh install readded what was necessary it had florida tax but do not see that is relevant to this case since the customer is from Iowa.

Any other ideas?

I am just curious because this type of charge can be in price gouging to the customers state laws etc. According to this websites owner.

Go into phpMyAdmin and browse the table: tax_rates

What is in there?

Anything in there that does not belong?

Anything have the field: tax_description with the word Local in it?
