Email error when checkout is done?

I am trying to do a test checkout on my site. I enter cc info, etc and get to the final checkout button and once it's pushed I get


Email Error:

I have no idea what that means? I tried switching my account to a different email addy and got the same error. Anyone know what I need to fix here?

Update: so it looks like my orders are going thru into the zen cart admin BUT I am not getting the email with the X'd out credit card numbers (that are stored on server). I am doing manual credit cards and I did double check to make sure my email addy was correct. So how do I get that secondary email with the x'd out #'s?

Check email transport method (in Admin) change it to PHP

I have my email set to PHP as I use windows. I get that email error: page when I do a test order.

The first time I did a test order my email was set to sendemail instead and I got to the checkout success page but did not receive an email letting me know a customer had placed an order nor did I receive an email as a customer letting me know that the order had gone through. Thats why I changed it to PHP.

Any ideas?

I also get the email error when I confirm a gift voucher. Don't know why obviously. It seems to have something to do with sending email notifications to both customer and store owner.

I've set my email option to SMTP as I am using windows. But I still get that error. However, it works fine when set to sendmail except I don't receive an email notification. Thought I'd mention it in case someone can help me out.
