I do not understand what you are referring to when you state "pointed"

I did notice that on your html site > select accessories > Buffalo Sprit -Bone Jewlery...and then the menu is also transparent. So this appears to be something in the js and not due to ZenCart...

Also, as applied to the cart...it is transferring to the html pages with no return path and the base reason that I have recommended that you bring all of this over into the cart to have a central source and maintenance point. Each of these pages can be created with ezpages in the cart where the cart header remains as the focal point for all navigation.

You are correct with naming convention (jscript_menu_com.js) and you have them placed correctly (src='/zencart/includes/templates/brown/jscript/menu_com.js').

Have you adjusted this line in the jscript_exmplmenu_vars.js to reflect the path to the images?

cause it appears its not finding the images on the zencart side

Check the html site as there are many of the links that render as transparent...

ok I just did a compare between the html site and the zen site using both IE and FF. very much broken in FF, less so in IE. The html side works fine in IE, but as kobra said some of the links render tranparent in FF. Its gotta be some sort of javascript problem with FF. I have had problems with some scripts crashing FF, don't know why. I'm no javascript programmer.

Good catch!!! I did not view in IE...and yes the html site appears to function correctly there...Still need to determine why & how to render correctly in FF and other more compliant browsers before having a chance at including in ZC.

I have a copy of the menu and exmplemenu in the root folder of my website. Even if I out them in the includes/templates/brown/jscript folder they werent being called. So I 'pointed the SRC in the tpl_header.php (as shown in the quote I sent you) to the jscript folder and it picks up the new exmplemenu file and executes that instead of the one in the root. They are different variables.

You are right and thanks for the catch on the HTML portion of the menu. There must be something wrong there and I'll try to fix that and see what happens.

I fixed the html code on the buffalo spirit and wood spirit pages in the HTML section and it works properly again. I didn't change the exampl_menu or menu_com at all so the menu should still work properly in the zencart section but is still transparent.

Okay..I have the arrows and fixed the HTML side - it wasn't the menu at all - but the background on the zencart side is still transparent.

no as no class or id's are named in the script. I think the problem on the zen cart side is the way you are including it. The instructions the come with it are for html pages. I have just added this script to my local machine 1.3.5 demo setup and it works fine in FF. The only thing I did was copy and rename (add the jscript_) the 2 script files to the includes/templates/default_template/jscript folder. Nothing else! Do not add the other code to the tpl_ files. Then I went into the variable script and made the adjustments for horizontal vs vertical and background colors and position. The better way for this script to work would be for it to be rewritten to have a class, so that you could do the positioning with the style sheet instead of embedded as it is now. Hope this helps.
