Default I'm pulling my hair out!!!

First off, a BIG thank you to whoever can help me...

    My site is www.kaleidoscopecardsandcrafts.com.

    My problems are:

    1. If you click on papers/cardstock under categories is says you are viewing products 1-10 but only 5 or 6 are showing up. Why?!?!

    2. When clicking on any of the product categories that are active right now (die cuts or paper), I do not want to see the item description on the overall page (where you see 10 items) but only on the page when you open a specific item up.

    3. When clicking on any of the product category listings, the "add to cart" button is not showing up.

If anyone could help me I could REALLY appreciate it!!!

    My best,
    Kim

In FireFox your Next Page is underneath the words on the right side ...

In IE you can see the: 1 2 3 Next

So you are having a template issue on your design ...

I'm going to sound stupid but what does that mean?

Oh, and I apologize for the double post - I feared I didn't post in the right section the first time.

If you look at your site in Internet Explorer vs FireFox ... you can see your links for additional pages on the papers/cardstock ...

I am not sure if you have an add-on for the Product Listing ... it may not be configured right ...

What happens if you switch to Classic for a minute ... does the display work better?

You're going to be sick of me by the end of the day... sorry in advance!

With 97% of the market share going with Internet Explorer, I am finding it crucial that my site work with those users. Why would it be working with Firefox and not the other way around?

How would I know if I have an add-on for product listing?

And if I switch to Classic do I risk losing all the work my designer did for me? Could you tell me how to do this?

Thank you again and again for helping me.

Changing templates does not effect anything other than the look of the site ...

The idea is to determin if all works correctly in the Classic template on the premise that you utilized the templates and overrides on your site ...

Try it and see how things look and function ...

When done, you can switch back to your regular template and then see what is not setup correctly ...

Perhaps one of the designers could peek at this and see what issues are causing the conflict on your template ...

Well, changing the templates to Classic showed me exactly what I want to see. I just wish I knew why it wasn't working in my template so that I wouldn't need to pay my designer. Thank you for your help!

And about firefox - my husband gave me that number so I'll just remember not to listen to him in the future... nothing new there!

    My best,
    Kim

If you paid a designer and the template is not functioning properly, I would suggest getting in contact with them and having them fix the problem.

Agreed... a paid template with silly syntax errors in the stylesheets and a lack of basic cross-browser compatibility, demands warranty.

Anyways, the main problem seems to be remedied with a clearBoth tag added underneath the navSplitPagesResult back/forward DIVs. That's a free tip for the designer's clean up duty.
