Default Bug? Email Addressed to Wrong Customer

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if something got corrupted in my admin.

I sent an email to my wife's email account to test. Although it did correctly go to her email account, it was addressed to a different customer. I pulled the customers table from mysql database and my wife's name and email address are under customer id 49, which is the 'customer' I sent the email to. But the email was addressed to customer id# 3.

    What would cause this?

BTW, I am using zencart 1.3.02.

    Thanks

How did you choose "which customer" to send to?
Are there any other names/email addresses similar to hers in that same list?

Looking for causes, as I've never seen that happen yet.

I went to send email, and then chose the customer from the list. My wife's name is Jera and it showed her email and her name. The customer's name the email was addressed to also shows up on the list, but with a different email (her email).

I've sent out some other emails (to email accounts I have) a few minutes ago and these didn't even go through (maybe some other customers received them ?). So something is happening, something weird.

    1. turn on email archiving
    2. grab the email-archive-viewer plugin from the downloads and install it
    3. send some emails
    4. view the emails with the viewer... check the email details, mainly the addresses of course

Also, go back to the send-mail tool, and View Source in your browser, and find out what the SELECT and OPTION details are for your wife and for the person who the email was addressed to. What are their record numbers? I'm guessing they "do" match the database properly.
May have to write some debug code in the /admin/mail.php module to find out what exactly is being retrieved for sending purposes and what is being passed on to the mail generator.

Ok, I viewed the source and I've also checked the customer id numbers and they all match up correctly. I've also installed the email archive viewer. I have created a few different test accounts over the past year and I've tried sending emails to them. The only that went through is the one I stated before. No other emails show up in the archive viewer?! Why would one go through and the rest not? Why does it include a number in the email notice when an email is sent?

    Notice: Email sent to: ********######################(1)

Also why does it sometimes cut off the .com?

    Notice: Email sent to: ******@moissaniteco.co(0)

Check your mail logs to see what might be the cause. Does this only happend with Zen-Cart ? If you try sending a regular email with the zc_install/techsupp.php file, will the problem still occur ?
