Discount Question

MY customer has a discount requirement and Im stumped for some reason :-)

To be Brief.

If a customer puechases product A, then we want them to be able to purchase Product B at a %discount.

Also .. at the time of check out, is it possible to display something like... If your buying this product, maybe you would be interested in xxxxxx. products.
