Zencart with possible 1000 registered users

Hello,

We are thinking of setting up a zencart store for a company that has about 1000 employees. The company wants to use the store as a corporate store where they offer corporate clothing as well as gift certificates employees can purchase. The employees will purchase the items with either cash or 'points' which we are planning on using the gift certificate functionality for.

The questions results from this company having roughly 1000 employees. In order for an employee to purchase from the store, they need to be registered through the store. Has anyone seen any problems with 1000 registered 'shoppers' if you will?

There shouldn't be any problems at all from a registration viewpoint - I've seen stores with a few thousand registered customers and I'm sure other people have seen more. The only problem you may have is if they all come online at once at 5pm - that might slow your server down a tad for a while (j/k)
