    Warning!

After a bit of trial and error (mainly error lol ) I have managed to upload ZC

My problem is that im getting the following warning message on www.dirtypower.co.uk

I have tried changing the permissions to 644 & 444 but they just revert back to 0

So I contacted my host to see if it was something he needs to sort out, and he has replied with the following message

    "Hi Al,

You don't configure permissions on Windows, that only applies if your installing on a Linux server. You'll probably have to edit the code to remove the message as you have no control over the permissions within HELM."

If this is the case what bit of code will I need to edit, or is there another solution???

    Many thanks

    Al

Thanks for the link but it doesnt solve the problem!

I tried to change the permissions in 2 different FTP programmes which didnt work, so as the message suggested I contacted my host, who sent me the email above back

I have a ressellers account and there is no access to the file manager within "Helm" as mentioned

Well 'Helm' does have a File Manager in the domain User Control Panel, so either you're not seeing it, or else your hosts have not enabled it. You're going to be stuffed as a Reseller without a File Manager on Windows hosting.

I'm afraid that all I know is that Helm does have a file manager - and as it is for Windows servers it should have the ability to change permissions. How else are you going to do it on a Windows server unless you are a server administrator?

I purely have a resellers account as I have a couple of large community sites and need the space, I have always used SmartFTP or FileZilla to access the root folders etc...

I would appear that the inherited permissions within the windows O/S keeps reverting the permissions back to zero. I have sent another email to my host to see if they can do it their end, but it looks like im screwed TBH

Looks like I will be looking for another host just for ZC!
