Default installed zen-cart through webhost, cannot access admin area

    hello folks,

My host offers the wonderful zen-cart as an application through it's Account Center. I follwed the installation procedure and Zen-Cart tells me it was a success. I can click on the button which introduces me to my new storefront, but when I click on the button to take me to the admin area, i get the following errors:

ERROR: Admin configure.php not found. Suggest running install? Click here for installation
Warning: main(includes/configure.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/860/domains/cart.everythingfam.com/html/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 74

Warning: main(includes/configure.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/860/domains/cart.everythingfam.com/html/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 74

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/configure.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php-4.4.4-4/share/pear') in /home/860/domains/cart.everythingfam.com/html/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 74

Additionally, there is no link to any kind of Admin Area on my storefront.

I have not even scratched the surface of adding products, customising or anything. I am sure I am overlooking something simple, any advice you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to customising the look of my cart to match my site...

There should have been 2 configure.php files created, one for admin, one for main store..
they have not been created.. hence errors.
Installing zencart via hosting scripts is not recommended, as you are
now experiencing.. before you go any further, suggest deleting this install
and go manual route.. you will save yourself a lot of time and trouble as you
    progress down the zencart road..

thanks for the quick reply. I deleted the first install and went through the first phase with the host again, and noticed only one of the neccessary config.php files was created. I am now going through the manual install for the rest of the process.

    thanks again

Thanks for not letting me take a shortcut. Admin access is mine, and it wasn't very difficult when all was said and done

now what to do with those 2 other patches? they're still neccessary yes? I'm off to look into it.
