Who's Online shows a total increment for the same IP address if the user opens a new page?
I checked my site this morning and found an extraordinary 84 users (usually 20 at the most). I checked my Who's Online and found that some twerp in Port Moresby, Papua, New Guinea (alarm bells there) has opened a whole lotta pages with the same session ID, and each page opening constitutes a count increment for Who's Online.
I thought Who's Online was incremented by session/IP address in some formula? Does browser window come into this formula?
Anyway, I've put a block on that IP address range for my website, our content is of little interest to New Guineans, and it looks like suspicious behavior to me. I was hacked once, so I'm exercising some vigil.
