The reason I ask is due to having mixed lot sales and the shipping modules don't provide accurate estimates. Tried and turned off the shipping modules but, the checkout would then say something as "We cannot ship to your destination". It's nice to have a shipping estimator but, it's also bad to have bloated shipping costs. I'm currently using Canada Post and I don't do transactions online, I process the orders through the retail store itself. The shipping isn't free and I don't want it to say that on the site. All I wish to do or see if I can, is to turn off the shipping. Five packages really doesn't constitute five boxes and that's where my dilemma is. I do understand that it's unrealistic for shipping with situations like these and I blame nothing and noone. I know what I can fit into a certain size box and a computer crunching numbers may not. I process the orders offsite, so I don't mind giving customers a realistic shipping estimate when they ask. It's better than them getting scared off by extreme postage. I put a footnote about mixed lots and the actual shipping charged will be almost exact. I just get too many complaints and I could have footnotes all over the site, but nobody gets it. I don't blame them though. If I were shopping online and I knew someone's rates were well above reason, I probably wouldn't shop there. Ballooned shipping belongs on eBay, where it more or likely originated from. I hope I am able to skip the shipping. The shop just became upgraded to the new one, it runs as a showcase until I verify distributor memberships and then it is a full running shop. If you just supply a link for an answer, that is okay too because I've read through 30 pages and found no answer. Please guide me and thanks in advance.
