Will the cart run locally (for evaluation purposes only) on a Windows 2000 machine with the Apache2.2 installed? If so what version PHP and MySql should I use? We've been hitting a few snags getting it running. If not what versions should we use?

http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html will get you a copy of XAMPP. Just load it and you're good to go with everything you need to run locally.

NOTE: It does not play well with IIS so, you will need to make sure you are not running IIS on the 2K box.
