Default wordpress add-on, posts not showing up on index.php

I have followed the instructions on the super-cool wordpress addon for zen-cart, and it is installed! Yay! that seemed to be the hard part. However, the test post I created did not show up on the main page.

I have turned a lot of things off on the front page because I currently am listing one "featured Item" only. my site

I must have turned something off somewhere but I am a little confused as to how to have the latest blog posts on the front page. Can someone point me in the right direction??

do you have your template set to default (the one that looks like classic zencart) in your admin? that should make it show up correctly. well at least in YOUR current template...

the latest blog posts is a sidebox you have to turn on...

    I was hoping you'd reply

I have the sideboxes on, its the center content that's not appearing on the front page of my site. My template isn't set to default, either, it is set to the CUSTOM template I have created. If you click the link from the first post that says "mysite" you'll see that the right sidebox is on. Unfortunatley, when you click on news and announcements it takes you to an un-styled wordpress page which is not part of my zencart site, or template. Do I need to make an entry to my english.php file or change something in a template somewhere?

WordPress Add on works fine if zencart installed in main domain
but not in subdomain.. i.e. See last two posts(numbers 13 and 14) at
    http://zencart-module.s-page.net/ind...s&p=4#comments

    thanks, Misty,

I have been reading and re-reading your previous posts about this subject, and I guess I got the installation wrong. The readme isn't exactly crystal clear.

    My directory structure is currently:

    mydomain.com/zencart/wordpress/

and you are saying that doesn't work, and it should be:

    mydomain.com/zencart
    &
    mydomain.com/wordpress

    Is that right?

    No.. it should be
    yourdomain.com goes directly to zencart
and wordpress module is then installed in
    yourdomain.com/wordpress/

    Okay,

mydomain.com doesn't go directly to zen cart, and that is the first priority to get this to work? So, I'll move that and then re-install the wordpress module.

Thank you again, Misty, for your patience especially.

    you're a great help.

    Just to follow up-

I did as Misty suggested and moved the whole shebang to mydomain.com and the blog integrates with the css and looks lovely. Thanks again for pointing the way.

however- I think must have turned something off in my admin>configuration somewhere because I dont see my "hello world" post at the index page of my site... or am I not supposed to, by default?

should I only see it once i click on the link in the sidebox link?

    TIA

    self

    Great news...Well done!!
    dont see my "hello world"
Does not appear on my install either.. you could always
post on developer's blog and request it be included
    in his next release
