Linking Outside of Zencart

Is it possible to redefine the links in my categories tab so that they link to pages outside of zencart? Instead of a category tab taking them to:

http://www.mysite.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2

I'd like it to take them to:
http://www.mysite.com/games.html

How can I do this?

Items in the categories box are dynamically created from products entered and in the DB so that one can set price etc. and control the sale. A link there to off cart can not control any sale.

Off cart links can be hard coded and placed in any sidebox with the above caveat
