    Default Cart Freezes at Checkout Shipping

    I have spent days and nights on this but can not come up with a solution. I have set up the zen cart Version 1:3.0.2 and am into final testing to make sure all is well and bingo I can't process an order. The cart freezes on the Checkout_shipping page with the shipping comment dialogue box. The cart will not go to the next page of the checkout procedure. I am desperate for some help. If you have any suggestions I would be most grateful. I won't tell you what I have tried in case this puts you off making any comment that may lead to a conclution any idea at all I would love to hear it.

    Do you see a Shipping Method when on checkout_shipping

    Do your Products have weight?

    Does 0 weight mean Free shipping?

    How is this configured in the Shipping/Packaging?

    If 0 weight does mean Free Shipping do you have Free Shipping freeshipper installed?

    Do you have Zones on your Shipping Modules?

    Thanks Linda, I appreciate the responce I'm just a bit stuck with this issue.
    Do you see a Shipping Method when on checkout_shipping?
    The freeze occurs on the step 1 of 3 delivery info.. so am unable to see an option for shipping.
    Do your Products have weight?
    Yes have set weighs.

    Does 0 weight mean Free shipping?
    I have not enabled the free shipping option.

    I have one option selected and enabled this is the flat rate option.

    If 0 weight does mean Free Shipping do you have Free Shipping freeshipper installed? Free shipper is not installed.

    Do you have Zones on your Shipping Modules?
    Yes I have a default zone set for New Zealand or is that New Zenland

    I am having a similar issue. Everything was working great after testing last night and then this morning I could not go from Step 1 to step 3 in the cart. I have my shipping info set and all of that is OK but the button is looping back to checkout_shipping instead of checkout_payment! Rest is working fine when I make the url go to checkout_payment.

    Help, please - I have not been able to figure this out in any of the code although I can identify where the files are located.

    My cart is therefore broken for the client and she is going to have my head in another minute.

    Hi roseleaf,
    Yes I am in the same boat. I am already three weeks over due on delivery but don't want to put the cart up until it works. Credibility is taking a beating... this is my first Zen Cart project ....it could well be my last if I don't deliver shortly. So if you are reading this and have even the slightest idea of what could be wrong there are two for sure who would be grateful for some assistance so please post a reply.

    I have tried replacing files hoping that some had been corrupted but that did not work either. I have completely rebuilt the Cart twice now after a problem uploading from a local server to the internet. The cart is sitting on the net now waiting to go live but with no links to it.

    I'd be inclined to say there is an error in your template ...

    However, you used the Classic template so it is really hard to test if you broke the template or a default file ...

    I do have a set of 'clean' zencart files. Any suggestion as to what files I should replace and then start over with? Or should I, at this point, do a clean install - which I would prefer not doing?

    Thanks for any advice!

    PS My config files looks good - I did find your info in another post about making sure that was all pointed in the right direction.
