Default Using CSS Buttons - still seeing "Update cart" gif

    Upgraded from 1.2.4.1 to 1.3.6

Is there something in $buttonUpdate in header_php.php that's causing this? Or is it in tpl_shopping_cart_default.php?

Doesn't matter what I choose in Config | Stock | Show Shopping Cart - Update Cart Button Location.

"Continue Shopping" and "Checkout" are just fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    - Rand

It's probably because the alt text is very long for that button (and the Zen css buttons automaticly are disabled for long alt texts).

The update "button" was changed to an "icon" and therefore removed from the CSS buttons functionality completely.

Strange, I got a quite fresh 1.3.6 install and the /includes/templates/template_default/buttons/english/button_update_cart.gif is still being used somehow.

The only icon I see on that page is: /includes/templates/template_default/images/icons/small_delete.gif

Sorry that is not true, the language flags are icons too.

hhmm... appears that something that should have happened hasn't. Sorry.

Thanks all! So I _must_ use gifs/jpgs/pngs for "update cart" and "delete"?

Thx for telling Kim, I already wondered if I had changed something without remembering (which happens more often than I like).

    @Rand:
at this moment (v1.3.6) delete is an icon and is not handled by the css buttons function. The update_cart is a gif button and is handled by the css buttons function, but it will probably change to an icon in the next Zen version.

Why the update_cart shows a gif button now is the long alt text (see my first reply).

Thank you paulm, my update cart button is now as I would like it.

Just curious, why the separation of update cart and delete out of the CSS buttons function?

I was wondering about that too, I would rather keep it the way it was. Now it's easy to switch beween image button and CSS button, but if it's an icon a code change will be needed to do the same.

No big deal of corse, but I only a disadvatage and no advantage.
