Problems sending html email after server change

Hi,
My customer has recently moved hosting companies and since then, all emails are going out as plain text. The new server is using qmail I think.
All files and the database were copied over by me so I am sure that nothing will have changed in zencart.
I have checked obvious config like 'send mime emails', the format for the particular customer that we are sending to etc... All seems OK.
The system is using the sendmail option rather than smtp etc..

Which version of Zen Cart? Any patches?
What mods/addons have been installed?
What kinds of customizations have been made to the site?
What version of PHP?
What version of Apache?
