Future Zen - Center page issues

Hi

I am testing the Furture Zen template, but cannot centre the page for some reason??

The Body CSS is:

 
body {
 margin: 0;
 font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
 font-size: 62.5%;
 color: #000000;
 background-color: #FFFFFF;
 width: 750px;
 text-align: center;
 }

And the Main Wrapper CSS is:

 
#mainWrapper {
 background-color: #ffffff;
 text-align: left;
 vertical-align: top;
 }

I have tried the Main Wrapper with 'text-align: center' but doesn't work, just centers all text.

Any help appreciated.

I am not really into this techie stuff, but I hate it when no replies and you are held up from working...so here is my 2 pennyith worth.

this is my main wrapper;

#mainWrapper {
background-color: #e5edf5;
text-align: left;
width: 90%;
vertical-align: top;
}

and body from my future_zen template.

body {
margin: 0;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 62.5%;
color: #000000;
background-color: #e5edf5;

}

I am still using the original bg colours.
