Inventory control by Attributes???

What there is, is a specific solution that can be incorporated into the mod when a product has just one relevant attribute. If you do a search on "Grayson" you should find links to this.

Grayson's mod is from Feb 2006 and details changes to the file: "main_template_vars_attributes.php". I can't locate this file anywhere. I am running 1.3.6 and I downloaded "stock_by_attributes_v4_3" Is this an old file that was eliminated in the newer release?

I'd appreciate any insight you can give me on this.

Is this module appropriate when the attributes are quantities only, i.e. buy 1 at price 1, buy 2 at price 2, buy 3 at price 3 (as each has an associated shipping amount included in the price and all are set for free shipping)?

Yes it is. The adjustments are well-explained in another thread. I recommend searching on "Grayson".

Not really, as when you sell a "3", it will only deduct 1 from your inventory.
