problem with product's price

hello,
i have a weird problem with my zen-cart install, everithing seems to work fine execept the price - I put in a price but after I update price is 0.
i had another install of zen-cart and everithing was ok, i belive it colud be a permissions problem. maybe someone could tell me how this can be fixed.

check the store status under your CONFIG>MY STORE menu in /admin/

maybe you have it set to 1 or 2 instead of 0.

This should be setup to show prices and everything. I would go ahead and check this setting to be sure that your site is set to NORMAL status.

I am getting this same error. My store status is set to normal, but everything is showing 0 instead of the actual price that I have inputted. What could be causing this?

By the way, I am using v1.3.05 and the site I am referring to is the Maggie's Gift Baskets one (url in my sig).

What are your currency settings?

Do you have USD marked as default?

Is this set as 1.0000

Well, you've got other problems going on with that site. When I select the Login link it says it's https, but there's no padlock and the base href remains at http://

I checked the currency settings and had it marked as USD for the default. I also tried switching from my template to Classic, but it was still the same - no prices.

I am going to upgrade my site tonight, and hopefully figure out what is the problem. I will keep you guys posted.

I am aware of the problems with the ssl certificate. That's why I am trying to fix everything prior to the site going live. If you find anything else, please do let me know.
