Wholesale vs. Retail

I have set up Zen Cart a couple times and I love it. One customer I had wanted osCommerce (which is nearly identical to Zen without a lot of very cool features) and wouldn't listed to reason that Zen was better.

I have a new client that wants a shopping cart for her retail business as well as for her wholesale business.

I am planning on setting up two different Zen Carts for her, one with retail info and pricing, and the other locked down with hidden products and pricing (members only) for her wholesale clients.

Is there an easier way to do this with a single installation, or is it best to keep them seperate.

I'm asking the identical question in a different thread. So far, it doesn't seem that there is a more elegant solution than creating two different carts, one for retail and one for wholesale.
