Remove update button from cart box

I know there is a switch in the Zencart admin to switch off the update button from the shopping cart so that I am left with just one update button under the shopping cart box but can't for the life of me find it.

Can someone point me into its direction before I go mad

That one is hiding in the Admin> Configuration> Stock

This seems to be the best place for this...I've been trying to remove this update button altogether but that option doesn't seem to be available...can someone please help? Thanks

Why would you need to remove it?

Please correct me if I'm wrong here but on the site I just made all products are set to a max 1 qty. and are a default of 1 so no changes need to be made unless they are deleting the product from the cart.

If you could do me the honors of checking my cart and if you see a reason I should keep it...then I'll won't bother with it...Thank You

Perhaps an if condition could be applied on the update button so that 'only starting to a min quantity of 2' would show the update button for your case. Wouldn't be the same than completely remove the button ?

this is my very first zen cart experience...do you know where I would place this if condition...thank you TheOracle, great suggestion.

Did you try setting the product to:

Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box

Now the quantity box does not show anywhere ...

Setting to Max 1 then prevents adding more than one to the cart ...

Then, on the update cart ... you can change the settings in Configuration ... Stock ...

Show Shopping Cart - Update Cart Button Location
Show on Shopping Cart Update Cart Button Location as:

1= Next to each Qty Box
2= Below all Products
3= Both Next to each Qty Box and Below all Products

Option 2 still allows people to check multiple products for delete and hit Update Cart ...

Thank You Ajeh...it didn't remove the button but now the button is used for deleting objects and after I changed the the delete option to check boxes only I think this will work for me. Thanks again
