I have been helping with configuring my new ZC site. I have a moderate grasp of EZ pages, Define Pages, and the override system (including image sub folders with the old small medium and large hooha)

What I can't find any help or advice on is where I should create directories for new html content over and above EZ pages. I wish to add a web of content, and only use EZ pages for the top couple of layers. Lists of content such as news and newsletters for example will be deeper and create too big a list of pages to manage in EZ pages.

I want to create a directory to hold this, and create links to that in EZ pages, but would like to know where would be the best place in the tree to put it. (considering upgrades, performance and security).

Schedule is tight so I don't want to look at installing mods that tackle this requirement, unless it can't be done simply :-)
