Delivery and payment options depending on weight

In my 1.3.0.2 shop I had some code added to disable the COD option for a few products with a weight higher than 3kg. (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44864)
I also used the codes of an other thread (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42682) to disable the flat shipping for these products, so only the more expensive zone shipping rate was available.

However in zen 1.3.6 these codes do not seem to work anymore? Could I make some adaptions in the admin or should the code be different?

You would need to customize the module to turn off or disable the $this->enable when it does not meet the criteria or exceeds the weight ...
