2 Separate Shipping Method Options

I would like to give my customers 2 shipping options for the same product. Each shipping option would have a different amount of time to reach the customer as well as a different amount of $$. (i.e. Standard Shipping (3-5 days) $8.00 or Expedited Shipping (2-3 days) $15.00. Anyone know of the easiest way of going about this?

Are those rates also affected by distance or location?

Nope... just flat rates.

And these rates are the same or different for each item? What if I order multiple items?

If they order mutltiple items, their shipping method will be the same for the entire order. They have a choice between a standard option and an expedited option in order to receive their entire order.

Okay, one more question, is the ratio between the normal shipping and expedited shipping always the same?

Like Kim said, you'll have to clone your flat rate shipping module. It's not too tricky... just do your research on the forums before you dig into it.
