Default What happens with state combo if JS is disabled?

Well it seems a little bug to me. I haven't find an already existing thread about this.

If in admin we set up State - always display as pulldown and our user has js disabled, he won't be able to insert the state if he doesn't belong to the default country, 'cause the pulldown won't change (js disabled) and the state text field will remain unwriteble.
Maybe would be enough an alert (only appearing if js is disabled) saying that js must be enabled to complete the registration (in this case of course registration process shouldn't be allowed).

The field should remain writable if you're using complete v1.3.6 code.

I'm so sorry! I made same error I always remark on my users... Didn't wrote the version! Well, in effect I was referring to 1.3.5 since we haven't released yet italian 1.3.6.
I checked thread about 1.3.5 issue with state solved in 1.3.6 but didn't find what I was referring to.
Well, nice to hear that this is solved too.

Just another completely different thing, DrByte. I read a post about e-mail vs username, where you told that changing authentication method is like an adventure. I've been asked to to that (plus completely modify the registration form). I already have experience in adding new fields in registration (managing also account mod and checkout shipping/billing address) so big problem would be the authentication. I was thinking that I must manage account creation and login (so, not so many files). Is there something I'm not considering?

The biggest problem, however, is that I've been asked yesterday to do that and it must be done before 12 Nov. I know I could do that, but I'm already late with some jobs to be completed within 15 Nov...
Well, I know this isn't the place, but I'd like to know if you or some other staff member can help me to manage this request. Of course I'd give you some details and would need to know the cost.
