Problem with cURL

Ive been working on my new webshop for 3 weeks now, and now i run in to a big problem.

When i try to configure a payment module i get this error:

Error CURL functions not found - required for Linkpoint API payment module

my server is not supporting cURL, does this mean i need a differtent server provider or is there any other solution.

If your web host doesn't offer cURL on the server, then yes you would need another host provider. Most "good" hosts do already have cURL available on their shared hosting platforms. Port 1129 must also be open for 2 way communication.

There is also a LinkPoint Connect (non-API). That option would redirect your customers to Linkpoint for payment and then back to your site. I recommend sticking with API if at all possible. Redirects always seem to cause more problems in the long run and some customers get leary when being redirected to another site for payment.
