You have to get your brackets balanced ... the first was too many or in the wrong sequence ... the second was not enough and again in the wrong sequence ...

Would it be easier to start with the clean file, and apply the changes you need now that you understand the banners better?

Or, use something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com where you can compare the two files and perhaps see where your code is out of wack?
