Currency Conversion updates

Hi all
Probably a dumb question. Does the currency conversion update run automagicly or am I supposed to do this manually every day??
I have 2 customers who we have set Zen Cart up for and one of them has just complained they were £15 ish out by the time the conversion from Euros to GBP was finished - My other customer who does far more international sales has never said a word, is this because he hasnt noticed or have I done something different ??
