Header Problem

Can anyone tell me which file i need to edit to add the html code to for my header. So when people view my site at different resolutions the header will not get cut off at the end. I do not know which file i can enter the code in for the header.

Also should i add the html code for the header in the wrapper.

this is mainly dependant on the header image that you have and if it can be repeated horizontally without destroying the design.

To do this one might use a background tile that is seamless and repeat-x and other images or information can be displayed in the logo and tagline or custom php coded for most anything you might want

Thank you for your response. I'm new to this php stuff and learning as i go along. So i kind of get what your talking about.
