What happened to my images??

I went from 1.3.5 to 1.3.6 and even though the images are on the server, the store no longer "sees" them??? WTF?

Upon further investigation, it appears that the name of the image was retained with the products, but ZC now isn't "seeing" the subdirectory the images are located in, even though the subdirectory is there and the files are intact. HELP! I've got over 300 products and do not want to have to reload all the images up again when they're already there.

For example, I've got my images directory, so where a bulk of my images are located is: images/designs

also, my category images are "gone" even though they're still on the server.

Okay, on FURTHER investigation, it appears that ZC is "ignoring" where it is in the file system. (Everything was fine before I upgraded, btw.)

My store is in the /main/shop directory.

My images are TRYING to pull from the /main/images directory instead of the /main/shop/images directory. That's why it's not "seeing" my subdirectories.

I've tried physically altering both the regular and admin configure files, but it's still not "seeing" it, so something is there I'm missing.

It's ALSO not seeing my custom template or other templates I downloaded (wasn't using them, but they're there) so it's not "seeing" that directory properly either.

have you turn on your template in the admin?

The template wasn't showing up at all.

What I finally had to do was totally reinstall all the 1.3.6 files and do it as an upgrade and it seemed to fix the problems.
