I had actually. The problem turned out to be time. The emails were simply taking an hour or so before they were recieved in the test email account I set. So I was confused because I thought my email settings were correct, but nothing was getting through.

An hour? Yikes! Better be yelling at your ISP.The emails were simply taking an hour or so before they were recieved in the test email account I set.Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
