Blank Page on Confirm

Checkout works fine until the Confirm button is clicked. The checkout_process.php is accessed but after a very long time, a blank page appears.

Email notifications go out fine and the order is logged into the database, but the confirmation page is blank.

I am relatively new to ZenCart and am wondering if this file might be timing out, as the same cart runs on my local development server fine.

If anyone else has had this issue, would love to know how to resolve it.

What version of Zen Cart?

Is this a new install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from and how?

Has checkout ever worked from start to finish?

What payment modules are you using?

Does it work with Check/Money order? Or do all methods you have installed cause this to happen?

v1.3.5 Installed Oct 9. Minimum mods. SSL

After posting the thread, I ran it through a check/money order and that processed from start to finish fine.

It is when the Visa/MC is used that it locks up on Confirm. The client processes orders manually.

In retrospect, I think it might be looking for a gateway to connect to, but since orders are processed by the client, no gateway is needed.

I would upgrade to v1.3.6 before going much further ...

It is odd that the Payment Module for Credit Cards cc is timing out and Check/Money Order moneyorder is able to run as neither are processing via a gateway or other method to interfer ...

You might try reloading the files for:
/includes/modules/payment
/includes/languages/english/modules/payment
/includes/modules/pages/checkout_ALL_YOU_SEE

There are a gang of files for the checkout that follow the pattern above ...

But my first inclination is to say upgrade to v1.3.6 as there are a lot of files involving the addresses etc. that touch the checkout files ...

Have you ever managed to checkout with Credit Card Payment Module?

DUH!

I checked to see if there was a difference between my local development cart and the production cart.

There was. The free zencart charge was disabled in the production version. I activated it and checkout now goes all the way through.

I will be upgrading as soon as I get this running without glitches. I haven't done an upgrade yet, and I need to get this client back up and I want a stable cart running before I start messing things up again.

I did find a glitch in the 3.5 state field and added a "FULL" state notice as PA locked everything up.

Suggestion ... there are glitches in v1.3.5 ... you may find it easier to work through them after the install vs try to figure out what is you and what is just an issue in v1.3.5 ... but that is just me ...
