Which template file is responsible for the product listings in categories?

I have a double description coming up and i dont know why

Did you upgrade your site from a previous version?

What version of Zen Cart are you running? If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?

If looks like you have the:
/includes/modules/product_listing.php

setup to show the products_description with the products_name and by itself ...

I guess I messed something up . I was looking for a way to separate the product description from the product name. In admin , the order is hooked together.

I thought I was only editing the column layout. It is both?

There is code in there to display the products_description under the columns ...

But there is also code to display the products_description under the products_name ...

You need to turn off one of them ...

Could you elaborate more? Is there a setting in the admin or you mean in the file? Ideally with the column view I would like to have following order

Product Name
Image
Product Description

I don't know what you have done with your files ...

You could have the original file modified ...
/includes/modules/product_listing.php

You could have an override file that is not up to date ...
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/product_listing.php

Look for:
zen_get_products_description

How many places do you find that function building the output for the description?
