Hi
Tomorrow I am finally standing up to my hosts (gulp).
Do you guys mind checking my site and give me your opinion about the speed that it loads.
Do I need to optimise some more or is it mainly my host?

I would say it has almost nothing to do with your host and virtually everything to do with your image sizes - so hold off on that call until you've done more work! Reading this is a good start - or install Image Handler 2.
Thumbnails at 17kb are about 10x bigger than they should be in terms of file size.
Take a look at http://www.websiteoptimization.com/s...ks.co.uk/shop/ for a speed (or lack of it) assessment.

I second ryk's assessment of your images....once this is accomplished...You might also enable gzip in the admin
Thanks Guys. The only problem is that if I make the thumbnails any smaller, the large image is obviously pixellated rubbish. I only have one images folder, not small, med & lge as others do.
Off to work. Have a good day everyone, Tina
You won't be able to blame your host because you haven't used the correct ZC methodology for your images!
And if you don't want to take the time to do it that way, do as I suggested and install Image Handler.

You can create them again and/or use IH2
