For starters ... switch the site to Classic ... does the navigation work right for non-secure and secure pages now? As in does the Login link now take you to a secure page?

Well ... something is moofy ... your links all show correctly from the header to the shopping cart for checkout etc.

But, when I click what should be a secure page I am not going to it ...

Do you have 1 directory or 2 directories for your secure and non-secure pages?

If you never touched the original files and only used templates and overrides then something else is messed up on the site ...

This could be files missing from updates, .htaccess on the server, secure URL configuration etc.

Technically, from a Zen Cart stand point ... we send you to the URL you see if you mouse over a link ...

If you do not go to that location, either a file is bad, missing, corrupt or something is not right on your site ...

I can go to your main page as a secure page ... and it does not automatically redirect me to the non-secure ... but that does not mean there isn't something moofy here ...

I'd be doing an FTP compare with something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com to see if I messed up something on the upgrade ...

turned off rewrite in htaccess and when I clicked on login i got a 404 error.

could this be SEO URLS mod problem?

Close the browser, clear your cache ... start over ...

I just clicked on HOME ... then tried Login and no error ... granted no secure page either ... unless you switched it back on already ...
