Weird Stuff

I am having some behavior I have never seen before.

I am setting up a site to sell wholesale cell phones.

When I click on the top level category like Cingular it opens a menu of the various vendors. When I click on Motorola, it goes to the url mysite.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6_7 which is a blank page. This happens when there is a product in the manufacturer's link. If there is no product then the url mysite.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6_7 opens fine and says there are no products.

If I click Motorola in the manufacturer's box, I go to the url mysite.com/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=1 and it is a blank page.

If I click on the product link, it goes to the url mysite.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5 and displays the product page.

I am using 1.3.6 on a box that is running several other Zen-Cart installs just fine.

I have no idea here as I said I have never seen this with Zen-Cart or OSC.

There is a new setting for when there is 1 Product in a Category to skip the Product Listing and go directly to the product _info page ...

Many find it is silly to have a Product Listing when there is only 1 Product as there isn't much to list ...

You can turn this feature off, however, in the Layout Settings:

Skip 1-prod Categories
Skip single-product categories
If this option is set to True, then if the customer clicks on a link to a category which only contains a single item, then Zen Cart will take them directly to that product-page, rather than present them with another link to click in order to see the product.
Default: True

Thank you. That fixed the problem.

It is hard to keep up with all the great new features in Zen-Cart when my specialty is Joomla sites.

It would be great to have a Zen-Cart component for Joomla. As it is, I have to use the OSC component.
