More than one Zencart on a domain / Sub domain

My collegue and i would like to change the format of one of our websites from category based Zen cart to running Sub domains ie;

www.underonelink.com - baby products CHANGE TO baby.underonelink.com.

would installing more than one Zen cart database cause us any problems?

I can't see why it would, so long as we stuck to Sub domains, and the only problem we can think that may arise would be filling our space with databases!

Has anyone else ever achieved this, or are we barking up the wrong tree?

Should not be a problem IF your zencart installs
use differently named mysql databases
