    help question Creating sub-pages with bread crumbs & Site Map?

    Hi, I want to create some "sub-pages" for lack of a better word at my shop.

    Right now I have a page called about-us.
    I'd like to have a sub page, for our bios, press, etcetera.
    But I'd like for Zen-Cart to recognize the new pages in the bread crumbs header.

    So my bread-crumbs would read.
    Home < About Us < Sizing < Mens Button Down ....

    Here is a link to a page with breadcrums so you can get an idea.
    http://zulurose.com/index.php?main_page=about_us

    I'd also like for my shop to recognzie these pages in the site map. But I have no idea how the site map works at all!
    Nor how to access it. I've only called it up on accident when the site was in testing mode.

    Kindest regards,

    ZR

    Create your extra pages using EZ-pages.

    Ok, I redid my About Us page as an E-Z Page.
    http://zulurose.com/index.php?main_p...id=3&chapter=1

    I am not getting the sub-pages to appear as nested bread-crumbs, I think this is because the links are set to
    index.php?main_page=http://zulurose.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=3&chapter=X

    X is always "1," even tho in my Admin > E-Z Pages > the chapters and TOC are set to different numbers.

    What am I missing?

    Take a look at my TESTSITE

    I took the liberty of using some of your About Us information to create the example.

    Is this what you had in mind?

    Hey Clyde,

    No that is not exactly what I had in mind.
    I was able to get that to work.
    I would like for the bread crumbs to be "nested" for lack of a better word.
    By bread crumb I am refering to this part of the code.
    <!-- bof breadcrumb -->
    <div id="navBreadCrumb"> <a href="http://zulurose.com/">Home</a>&nbsp;&laquo;&nbsp;
    Zulu Rose Fabrics
    </div>

    <!-- eof breadcrumb -->
    For instance.

    If you went from Home to About Zulu Rose and then clicked Fabrics and then clicked Burnt Out the Bread crumbs would read.
    Home < About Zulu Rose < Fabrics < Burn Out.

    Right now it only reads
    Home < Burn Out
    http://zulurose.com/index.php?main_p...id=6&chapter=1

    Totally missing all the steps to get there. There is no easy way to get back to the fabrics page without using your back button in the browser

    much thanks for your time spent already!

    The type of Breadcrumb path you are referring to is one based on Browser History, which is not the way ZC Breadcrumb works.

    Catagory > Sub-catagory > product

    The above is how ZC Breadcrumb normally works when one is using the built-in ZC Navigation, which you have chosen not to. You will need to either 'turn on' or 'enable' Navigation else recode to suit your needs.
