Coupon & partner

Hello,

I've got some partnership and would like a specific coupon for each one of these partners.

I saw this topic (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42386) wich looks what I want but it seems to not be too good for updates.

Is there any way to get a coupon if someone come from a given url and subscribe from this link (partner > to us)

This could be custom coded to manage that type of coupon release for which coupon code to send out based on how the customer got to the site and then have a default for if the session times out, or the customer came from no where, or allow the customer to later have 1st coupon controls the referal code, etc. ...
