Define Page Editor - Error Message

Just recently I have had problems trying to save changes with my page Editor. I started getting the follow error message when trying to save my changes.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin/define_pages_editor.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have check the permissions 755, my server doesn't allow 777 but the 755 setting has worked well for the last year now something seems to have gone wonky.

I am not getting the pink bar telling me that my permission are set wrong. Everything appears normal until I try and save.

Re: Define Page Editor - Error Message

Thanks for your help. I changed the permissions on that file to 644 as you suggested. There was no change. I am still getting the error message. Interesting though all the files in the Define Page Editor are set to the same permission level but the only one I can actually edit without the error occuring is the define_privacy.php file. That is weird.

Thanks again. If you have any other suggestion please feel free to let me know.

Re: Define Page Editor - Error Message

There are times when the following works for troublesome files.

Delete or rename the file, then reupload the copy on your computer.

Also, are you using Template override? If so, you may fine this thread helpful.
