Set up product description *within* product type?

I have hundreds of products that all have the *exact same* description.

It occured to me that if I was able to code the text into the product type, rather than in each and every product, if the text changed in the future, I could update it across all products by including the description within that product type (edit one file, versus hundreds).

Is this possible? What's the best way to handle this?

Hi - It may sound strange at first glance, but try to add the products as a 'category' instead as a product. See sample at: http://69.54.36.71/zcdev/. Good luck!

You could add to the product type template an additional includes that is either triggered by the product type or triggered by the category or some other factor for when your descriptions are the same ...

Another method is the Read Only Attribute ...

Depending on how long the repetative product description is, you might be able to utilize that as an option ...
