search function does not look in Categories

Hi,

the search function looks only the description of the artikles. I would really need that this function looks also to the Categories description. Is it possible to to change this function?
What i have do do?

What kind of search are you doing that the Products would be related to the Category description rather than their own products_name, products_model, products_description etc.?

Have you a real world example?

Would adding the keys to the Products custom Meta Tags help, these are searched as well ...

Hi,

one part of my shop is (example) himalaya salt. The main description of this product (all the points of this product wich are equal) i wrote in the categorie description.
In the product description i wrote only the differencies, speciallies, etc.

But many thanks for your hint with the the "Products custom Meta Tags help", i will try it.

Keep in mind that the products_description having matching words on the categories_description and the keywords for the Categories and Products will help on the spiders when they come to feast as well ...
