Countries Dropdown

When I try and purchase a product on my site and I am going through the registration section, I select my country but it keeps giving me the message:

http://www.laminatecentral.com/zen-cart/includes/templates/Lovely-143/images/icons/error.gif You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu.

Is there any way to fix this?

This is a known bug in version 1.3.5 - you should upgrade to version 1.3.6

How come my version of zencart says:

Your version of Zen Cart™ appears to be current?

It will not allow me to upgrade.

I am not sure what files I need to install to upgrade Zen Cart 1.3.5.
