Referrals

Hi All,

I am curious to know if Zen Cart supports referrals - being a place where someone can enter a sales rep's name, referral #, etc. so that the business owner knows where the sale came from (if applicable).

Is this feature built into Zen Cart? If not, does anyone know of a module or add-on that will accomplish this task?

It SEEMS that this would be simply adding a form field or two to the order page, but I am certain that this would involve some tweaking of the PHP and/or database to properly record the referral information.

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks sheeba, this appears to be exactly what I am looking for. Having some install issues, but thanks for the direction!

The built-in referral-tracking system can also be used -- simply supply customers with a coupon, and you can configure it to use that coupon to track where the sale was generated from. This could tie into sales-reps or marketing campaigns, etc.
