Need urgent assistance

I have problem that I don't know where it came from, all of a sudden
the create an account screen refuses to accept the county and kicks the customer back saying that he has not entered the country. How do I disable
the check of the country and what could have caused this problem. I installed
the time zone adjustment tool but have since unstalled it HELP

Which version of Zen Cart are you using?

I have 1.3.6 I'm currently working on a clean install.

Do you have a site where this behaviour can be witnessed and what are your settings for Admin > Configuration > Customer Details > "State", "State - Always display as pulldown?" and "Create Account Default Country ID"?

I did a clean install and it took care of the probnlem thanks for the help.
