Checkbox Attribute Problem

Hi

I've set up a number of values as checkboxes which works fine. But when I add the price via the attribute option, the price gets displayed in brackets next to the checkbox with a ? before the amount
eg chkbox (?5.85)

I have a couple of questions

1. How do I get rid of the ? before the amount - I've tried tweaking all sorts of buttons but to no avail;
2. Is there any way that I can get rid of the brackets around the price - please say there is....

What currency are you using?

What are the settings?

Phoof - that was quick!!!!

I'm using £ sterling and the currency is set to that.

My site is too shameful to show at the moment - still working on it and I couldn't possibly give you the link to it!!!

Use the £ vs the symbol £ ... does this fix the display?

I am guessing you have the other settings correct on the Currency settings ...

There are many to mess up ...

Without seeing the issues it is really harder to guess at the answer ...

You'd have to edit the attributes module:
/includes/modules/attributes.php

copy that to your templates and overrides file:
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/attributes.php

Now find the ( ) by searching for:

' (

NOTE: that is a single quote space left paren

And that should help you locate them ... I do believe there are 3 running around in there ... 2 sets for price and 1 set for weight ...
