Request help: Text color change

hi everyone.

i currently own www.kidnemo.com

as you can see, i am using the classic green template.

it is great but i have been having trouble fixing the text colors.

the text colors that trouble me are the:

green catergorie text

red sub catergorie text

blue link text


i dont know much about html color codes and stuff so i have no idea where to look.

i am looking to change the

green catergories text to black and in bold

the red sub catergories text to black

and the blue link text to a lighter blue


can any help me on this please?

lol i was tinkering w/ the stylesheet over and over last night. ^^

How did you change the link colors in the Sidboxes? Particularly, the 'information' and 'more information' boxes? I have changed every color in the stylesheet and the links within those boxes just aren't changing!!??

noticed the following warning on your site.

Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.

which version are you using? and did you update the database.

hi clyde.

i was using 1.3.5 and upgraded to 1.3.6 but that error is the only thing i cant figure out how to fix. Can you help me out w/ a walkthrough or tips?

on the question of the information text color, i believe on top of the stylesheet

the following lines

a img {border: none; }

a:link, #navEZPagesTOC ul li a {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:visited {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:hover, #navEZPagesTOC ul li a:hover, #navMain ul li a:hover, #navSupp ul li a:hover, #navCatTabs ul li a:hover {
color: #3BB9FF;
}

a:active {
color: #000000;
}




i changed the default colors to black #000000 and somehow they changed...

i dont know anything about html so it was luck thing

Those are the correct areas to change for the links (this will include every link on your site not just the sideboxes)

You should still recheck your upgrade to get rid of that error message at the top of your home page.

i followed the message but i wasnt able to make any sense of what was required. do you have any ideas?

Information on upgrading can be found in the /docs/2.Readme-Upgrade.html file on PC.

When you did the upgrade did you just upload the the new version files?

If so then you're going to need to upload the zc_install folder from version 1.36.

and run that at the bottom of the screen after accepting accepting the conditions of use you'll find several buttons click on the update database and follow the instructions.
