    Default Auto expiring products?

Is there a way to auto expires (status = 0) products by date, without having to code it?

I'm trying to use ZC to manage congress reservations (this is only 1 'product' among many 'standard' products). I'd need this features 'cause of price change based on date of request (mainly due to hotel policy).

With attributes I may manage a good registration 'form', but this date stuff is not so simple.

Of course I'd create 2 products and I could disable the old one manually, but would be much easier to have an authomated tool.

I know ZC is not the best suite to accomplish this task (using attributes for this is complex when you have to manage prices depending on what user choose, basically every option must be an attribute, so not very user friendly), but this way everything would remain in the same 'environment'.

    Thanks!

There are automated functions for expiring banners and features and specials. You could use these as an example for expiring specific products.
Look at the functions initiated in init_special_funcs.php for a starting point.

Thanks Doc, I know. I already worked with those functions. But I didn't want (at the moment) to hack core files and db (maybe in front-end ther's no need to hack core files, but in admin of course it would be needed... hmmm since I'll manage the store maybe I could code everything without the need to make management of this feature available by admin... hmmm... good :) )
