CSS help needed

I've been trying to customize a template to match my main site. I've figured out (with a messy css sheet ) how to get it pretty close. The biggest problem I have is trying to get the Category list to display correctly.

The list on the navigation is spaced far apart. I want it to be spaced like the "information" tag. Can someone look and tell me which tag I need to modify to get them to display correctly?

Had a "quick look at your css....and yes there is a seting that is controlling this but it would take me far too long to wade through all the edits contained, some commented out some from xoops etc to be able to determine what is controlling this in you setup.

Might make a copy of the css and clean it up as a first step.

Yeah, all the comments are for me trying to figure out how it is all working...

I have cleaned up the file and re-uploaded it.

Still did not find the reason but you can take control of this by adding this to youe stylesheet:

#categoriesContent {
line-height: 7px;
}

Another css question:
I want to change the size of the header search box (width and height). Where would this be done? I tried changing it on the navMainSearch tag but that didn't work.

that would be in includes/templates/temlate_default/sideboxes/tpl_search_header.php

Remember to copy to your overrides directories.
